Industries We Serve

Different industries. Same solid ground.

From runways and highways to subdivisions and restored wetlands, Kolb Grading self-performs the sitework these projects are built on. Ten industries, one set of crews, one standard for how the work gets done.

Where we work

Ten industries we build for

Every site has its own demands. What stays the same is who does the work: Kolb crews, Kolb equipment, one point of accountability from bid to final grade.

Our Story

Family-owned. Built over generations.

People trust Kolb because they know where we came from, a family business that grew from local grading into a nationwide heavy-civil contractor without losing the values it started with.

1960

Kolb Grading is founded as a local grading operation in Missouri.

1987

Kolb starts working in environmental clean up.

1999

Kolb's second generation expands the business into full-scale sitework and utilities.

2022

Kolb becomes a leading partner on the country's largest mission-critical sites.
